These terms constitute an agreement between you as a consumer and Ideal of Sweden AB, reg. no. 556889-7994, Gamla Rådstugugatan 33, 602 24 Norrköping, Sweden (“IDEAL” or “we”) and by placing an order via our website, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. Please make sure that you read through and understand the terms and conditions before making a purchase.
Please note that all orders placed via our website are for non-commercial use and by placing an order you confirm that you are a consumer. Upon suspicions that your purchase is for a commercial purpose, we have the right to request proof of that you are an end-consumer or even cancel your order until you have provided such evidence.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are over 18 years old. We have the right to cancel your order if you have stated false personal information or if it comes to our knowledge that you have any records of non-payment of debt.
Please note that the products in your shopping bag are not reserved and can be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email. After placing an order, we will confirm your purchase by sending an email to the email address you submitted when placing your order. You must enter the correct delivery and contact information (including e-mail address) when placing an order. If not, IDEAL has the right to charge you for any costs we may suffer due to incorrect delivery or contact information.
We recommend saving the order confirmation to facilitate any contact with our customer support regarding your purchase. Also, please note that the confirmation e-mail only acknowledges that we’ve received your order and shouldn’t be considered as an acceptance of the order. Once the order has been processed, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation e-mail with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation or pick-up notification is our acceptance of your order and the estimated delivery time as further described under “DELIVERY AND CANCELLATION” below, applies from the date of our acceptance of your order.
All prices set out on our website include VAT in accordance with applicable VAT legislation. If you’re shopping from a country outside of the EU, all prices exclude VAT. Orders shipped to countries outside of EU may be subject to local VAT, import duties and/or taxes and you’ll be responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. The VAT amount will be calculated on the total price of your order, yet, IDEAL does not control these charges, and since the cost may differ from country to country, we can’t predict the amount of these charges. After you have completed a purchase on our website, IDEAL can only adjust the amount paid by you if you have received the wrong price due to technical issues on the website.
You’ll find all payment methods available for your country during the checkout process on the website. In case your choice of payment method isn’t working at the time for your purchase, IDEAL reserves the right to change payment method.
IDEAL is not liable for any costs for currency conversion that your bank or credit card company may apply for payment in your local currency.
We may offer you to participate in campaigns or special offers, and the terms of such campaigns and special offers will be specified for each specific campaign and/or offer. These terms will only apply when the campaign is active and for the specific products defined by IDEAL in connection with the campaign (please note that gift cards are never included in our campaigns or special offers). We have the right to cancel special deals at any time and when doing so, IDEAL’s general terms and conditions continue to apply instead of the campaign-specific terms. A campaign on specific products will last for a limited time and for as long as we have that particular product in stock.
If you wish to return a product bought during a “buy one, get one for free”- or “3 for 2”-campaign, we require a full return in order to proceed with a refund, this means that you need to return all products bought under the campaign. If you have participated in a campaign with specific requirements, for example you have received a discount because your purchase exceeded a certain amount, and your order following a return does not meet the requirements for the campaign, a potential refund will be adjusted according to the terms and conditions of such campaign. IDEAL’s discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts or campaigns on our website, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We ship products world-wide, and the estimated delivery date depends on the country of delivery and the shipping option you’ve chosen. Products in stock are usually delivered within the number of business days stated on our website.
In case the delivery of your order is delayed, and you no longer wish to complete the purchase, you are responsible for cancelling the order by contacting our customer support team. A cancellation will be valid once you receive a confirmation from us that the cancellation is approved. If your order has already been processed and therefore cannot be cancelled, you must accept the order once it’s delivered. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not limit your rights to return the product once you have received it. If a product ordered by you is no longer offered or is out of stock, IDEAL can cancel your order and issue a refund. We will notify you of the refund or if there’s a similar product available.
If your order is delivered to a pick-up point, and you fail to collect the package in time or refuse to accept or otherwise fail to collect the order delivered to your delivery address, we reserve the right to charge you a fee to cover any additional costs we may suffer.
If you, when choosing delivery method, have accepted that the order may be placed outside your front door if you are not home at the time of the delivery, we have no responsibility for the order once the delivery company has left the order outside of your front door.
If your order has been damaged during the transport from us to you, you must report this to IDEAL’s customer support team as soon as possible.
You can withdraw your purchase or a part of your purchase within 14 days from the date you received your order by returning the product or products to us. You also have the right to exchange a product within the same time period if you prefer to exchange the purchased product against another product.
If the product or the product packaging is not in a condition that can be reasonably expected or have been damaged due to handling of the product which can not be motivated by a customary examination of the product, we reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund corresponding to the decline in the product’s value.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products which have been tailor made or otherwise personalized according to your unique requirements.
Gift cards may not be returned or exchanged for another product and lost gift cards will not be replaced.

We’ll pay your refund as promptly as possible, but no later than within 14 days from the day we received the product and registered the return or from the date you have submitted proof of that the product has been returned to our address (i.e., a return delivery receipt stating our correct address). We’ll issue the refund to the payment source used for the purchase, unless otherwise is agreed or deemed necessary.
Products purchased directly from our website can’t be returned at a physical IDEAL store. If you wish to exchange a product for a new product, just return the product and place a new order with your preferred payment method. If you have chosen to pay for the order by invoice and the complete order is returned, your invoice will be cancelled. However, if you have made a partial return, you will get a new, updated, invoice via email. If your invoice payment is administrated by Klarna you also need to report the return to Klarna, this is done easiest by accessing your purchase in the Klarna app and clicking “report return”.
Please note that you are solely responsible for paying the freight cost for the return of your order. If the order has been placed from a country outside EU, additional fees such as customs or taxes may need to be paid for the return and you are responsible for paying such additional costs.
If the products you receive are defective, please inform us about this as soon as possible. The Swedish Consumer Act (1990: 932) states that you are entitled to complain about defective products within three (3) years from the purchase date. However, you must always notify us within a reasonable time after you’ve detected that the product is defective. If our assessment following examination of the product is that the product is defective, we will repair the product or replace the product with a new one. If the product has a material defect (i.e., not a minor defect), we will issue a refund amounting to the value of the product.
In addition to the rights you as a consumer have to submit a complaint in relation to a defect product pursuant to applicable consumer protection legislation, we offer a one (1) year warranty on all products sold on our website. Once we’ve received your warranty claim, we’ll process it and get back to you as soon as possible with further instructions on how to proceed. Please note that you must submit your claim as promptly as possible after noticing the damage or defect in order for us to proceed with the warranty claim. If your warranty claim is approved, we will repair or replace the product. If the product is irreparable or no longer in stock, you have the right to receive a similar product of the same value or get a refund of the price paid for the product.
If no defect or damage, as defined in this warranty, is discovered your claim will not be accepted. If no sufficient documentation to support the defect or damage has been provided by you via for example email and we therefore have requested the product to be returned to us for our examination, we will charge you a fee for freight- and handling costs if no defect or damage is detected. We’ll report all attempts at fraud to the authorities and we reserve the right not to process your claim if such an attempt is suspected.
We do our best to ensure that information on our website is complete, accurate and up to date. Despite our efforts, information on the website may occasionally need to be more precise, completed, or updated. We reserve ourselves for such inaccuracies, technical errors, printing or picture errors and outdated information regarding stock levels for a specific product. We also have the right to correct any errors and change or update our website information at any time. Furthermore, we can stop selling a product at any time without prior notice. If an incorrect price has been applied to a product you've ordered, we'll contact you and await your approval before we proceed with the order.
Please note that we do not guarantee compatibility with products not manufactured by us, if not otherwise explicitly stated in the description of, or specification for, the product.
IDEAL is not liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of the purchased products if the use of the product does not comply with that is set out in any applicable user guidelines and care guide and/or if the products are not handled with proper care. You are responsible for examining the product to make sure that it is not defect prior to the use of the product.
IDEAL’s liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order on our website is limited to the value of your order, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory law. IDEAL shall under no circumstances be liable for indirect losses or indirect damage.

The website and all its content (including trademarks, trade names, product names, images, logos, graphics, design, layout, and information about products) are owned or licensed by us. All information and content are protected by intellectual property and marketing laws and regulations, and the content on the website may not be copied or used without our prior written approval.

If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable (partly or in whole), the provision in question shall be unenforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
